Side In/End Out, Standard Baffled
Standard baffled mufflers offer a medium-high level of silencing. They use internal baffle plates to achieve the required level of silencing.
- Side inlet/end outlet configuration
- Supplied with slip joints as standard (use an AccuSeal, U-Bolt, Torctite EasySeal or lap/stepped band clamp)
- Some vehicle-specific applications (e.g. Isuzu, Hino) are supplied with flanged ends.
The inlet offset (A) is the distance from the end of the barrel to the centre of the inlet pipe.
The outlet offset (B) is the distance from the centre of the barrel to the centre of the outlet pipe.
Flowtech heavy duty mufflers are made in Australia, but economy versions are often available.
