We carry all common industry sizes of straight tube in mild steel, aluminised steel and various grades of stainless steel – including 304 and 409 (exhaust grade). 316 (marine grade) is also available. The widest range in Launceston, and also Tasmania!
Outside diameter (OD) sizes stocked include ½” (13mm), 1” (25mm), 2” (51mm), 3” (76mm) and then larger sizes 4” (102mm), 5” (127mm), 6” (152mm), 7” (178mm) and 8” (203mm). 1”-2” tubing is in ⅛” increments, 2”-8” tubing is in ½” increments.
Standard wall thickness is 1.6mm, and 2.0mm wall is stocked in some of the more common sizes. Particularly when bending tube, 2.0mm wall works best.
We can sell by the length (3.0m), metre, or can cut exhaust pipe to the length you require for your project. And remember, we can also help you out by press bending tube to your requirements (from 1⅜” up to 3” OD), as well as expanding (flaring) tube (from 1¼” up to 5”).
