Due to recent popular demand, Northern Mufflers will now be stocking 5” Volvo v-band clamps. The Volvo equivalent genuine part number for the 5” clamp is 1629499.
These, along with the 4” and 4.5” Volvo v-band clamps (already stocked) are suitable aftermarket replacements for use on a number of Volvo truck models, such as the FH12, FH16, FL12, and F90 series. They are designed to suit the special Volvo stainless steel flexible bellows (connectors) and Volvo style beaded couplers often seen on the base of Volvo truck and bus/coach mufflers.
Remember, Northern Mufflers can supply the bellows/connectors, the beaded couplers, and the mufflers, to suit your truck or bus. Direct fit mufflers are often available to suit specific Volvo models; all we need is a genuine part number to supply the correct part. If a direct fit muffler isn’t available, we can manufacture a custom truck muffler to suit.
